| Usage and Dosage |
Squeeze out a 3cm strip of ointment according to the scale on the outer packaging (equivalent to 2mg of mirtazapine), apply it evenly to the inner side of the cat's ear pinna, once a day for 14 consecutive days, alternating between the inner sides of the left and right ears. |
| Adverse reactions |
- Reactions at the application site (such as erythema, crusting, drug residue, desquamation, dryness, dermatitis or irritation, alopecia, and pruritus) and behavioral changes (such as increased vocalization, hyperactivity, disorientation or ataxia, lethargy/weakness, attention-seeking, and aggressive behavior) are very common in safety and clinical studies.
- Vomiting, polyuria associated with decreased urine specific gravity, elevated blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and dehydration are common in safety and clinical studies. Depending on the severity of vomiting, dehydration, or behavioral changes, administration of the drug may be discontinued based on the veterinarian's benefit-risk assessment.
- Adverse reactions include local reactions, which can recover without special treatment at the end of the treatment.
- In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. In such cases, treatment should be stopped immediately.
