Character: colorless to light yellow liquid.
Pharmacological action: Avermectin class antiparasitic drugs.
Selamectin induces rapid, fatal and non-spastic neuromuscular paralysis by interfering with glutamate-controlled chloride channels, and has killing activity against both in vivo (nematodes) and in vitro (arthropods) parasites. After using this product on the skin of dogs and cats, the drug is absorbed into the blood through the skin, and part of the drug enters the digestive tract and blood through the mouth when the animal combs the coat.
Indication: For the treatment of ascaris, hookworm, scabies, fleas and lice in dogs and cats; prevention of heart filariasis in dogs and cats.
Usage and dosage: Calculated by selamectin.
For external use, one dose, 6mg per 1kg body weight for dogs and cats.
Press down firmly on the cap, pierce through the seal of the tube, remove the cap, and administer the drug to the animal.
